We booked a day's training with Distant Horizons to go through crevasse rescue techniques and have a bit of a refresher on glacier travel before heading away to the Alps for fieldwork. Our group ranged from people with zero to limited prior experience (myself), to climbers with a solid level of background knowledge. All very impressed with the course content, which is necessarily very hands-on. Our instructor, Mike, was very patient and explained things clearly. We would highly recommend them :-)
